B100 vs the SN-10 

Key differences exist in the software functionality of the B100 compared with the SN-10.

The B100 was designed in 1989, and has very limited processing and memory capacity compared to the SN-10. That means many features *CANNOT* fit into the B100. As a consequence the new B100 v1.60 software upgrade *DOES NOT* include many following features of the ILEC SN-10:

• SN-10 GPS wind calculator and graphic wind arrow
• SN-10 large capacity turnpoint and landing field database
• SN-10 moving map with airspace boundaries
• SN-10 flight recorder
• SN-10 PClink with easy update of sites

Other SN-10 features not included are the:

• SN-10 AAT Task Mode
• SN-10 Club mode
• SN-10 Custom Page
• Automatic start, finish, and turnpoint arrival
• Touring option
• Point elevation in database, for use in Alternate calculations
  (B100 arrival altitude at alternate is given above sea level)
